Class registration and payment

A seat is reserved when you complete the registration form and confirmed when the payment clears. Between those two moments the seat is held in your name and shown as unavailable to everybody else, and it goes back to the class if payment is not completed inside the hold window.

Card payments are taken on the payment processor's own secure page. Earnest Security never receives or stores a card number. Payment is by credit or debit card; the site does not accept ACH from consumers.

The name, phone number, and email address on the registration go straight onto the roster and the certificate, so register in the name that matches the photo identification you will bring. Call the office before the class starts if any of the three needs correcting.

Oklahoma requires full attendance for every hour of a certifying course. Arriving after roll or leaving before the day ends means the hours do not count and the class has to be retaken on a later date.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancel seven days or more before the first day and the registration is refunded in full to the card that paid it.

Inside seven days, the seat transfers to any later date at no charge. Ask for the transfer before the class starts and there is nothing else to pay.

A student who does not attend and did not call forfeits the seat, because the instructor and the room were staffed for it. Call the office anyway and tell us what happened, and we will look at it.

If Earnest Security cancels or reschedules a class, every registered student chooses between a full refund and a seat on the new date.

Approved refunds go back to the original card. How long the issuing bank takes to post it is out of our hands, and five to ten business days is the range most students report.

Security services and quotes

A quote is a written price for a described scope, and it holds for thirty days from the date it was sent. Coverage begins once the service agreement is signed and the start date is confirmed in writing.

Post orders are written for each property and are what an officer works from on shift. Changing what officers are expected to do changes the scope, so tell the office and we will reissue the agreement to match.

Officers are licensed security personnel, which lets an officer detain a person for an offense committed in his presence and hold them for law enforcement. Officers carry no police authority and are never represented to a client or a resident as though they do. Commissioned peace officers can be staffed instead where a situation calls for arrest authority, and that scope is priced and agreed separately.

Certificates of insurance naming the client are issued on request at no charge.
